Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your responsibilities will include (but not limited too): Micropay - ability to navigate and hit the ground running with this system, prior expeirence with Micropay critical End-to-End Payroll Processing – Manage and process weekly payroll, including calculations for redundancies, entitlements, and terminations, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Award & EBA Compliance – Interpret and apply EBAs and modern awards, ensuring correct payments for overtime, RDOs, penalties, allowances, and leave. Payroll Systems & Reconciliation – Export and reconcile payroll data, conducting thorough checks and resolving discrepancies before processing pay runs. Process Improvement & Automation – Contribute to payroll system enhancements and automation to drive efficiency and accuracy in a fast-evolving environment. Records & Compliance – Maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring superannuation, tax, and payments align with regulations and company policies. Stakeholder Engagement – Partner with site managers and employees to resolve payroll queries and provide timely support. End-of-Financial-Year Support – Assist with payroll year-end processes, including tax table updates, superannuation reconciliations, and EBA adjustments. The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in end-to-end payroll processing, including compliance, reconciliations, and reporting. Accuracy-driven and results-focused, ensuring precise payroll execution and continuous process improvements. Strong communicator, adept at resolving payroll queries and providing exceptional stakeholder support. Excellent time management, able to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
