14/14 days and nights roster | FIFO from Perth to Port HedlandFamily friendly even time roster to achieve true life/work balanceCompany contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate familyAbout the role: The Rail Operations team is currently seeking an Operator Train Driver Mainline to join them on a 7 Days on, 7 Nights on 14 Days off Roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Rail Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing safe operation and delivery of product between the Roy Hill Mine and the Port Facility.
Duties: Operate mainline trains in accordance with Roy Hill's safety and operational standardsConduct pre-start checks and ensure the train is in safe working condition before departureMonitor train performance and respond to any operational issues promptlyCommunicate effectively with the Rail Operations Control Centre and other team membersComplete required documentation and reports accurately and in a timely mannerAssist with shunting and other rail operations tasks as requiredSkills and Experience: Certificate IV in Train Driving (Freight)Prior experience operating heavy haul trainsStrong understanding of rail operations and safety proceduresExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbout the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
