At the start of your day, the door opens some of your little ones eagerly greeting you as you are walking through our vibrant spacious centre, you smile with the early morning sun shining across the nature scape including vegetable and flower gardens, thriving with play and learning.
You will work closely with the educators and families to develop programs that meet the physical, emotional and developmental needs of these special individuals.
You'll help deliver the School ReadY, the Y'S school readiness program, and truly engage with our wonderful children and families.
At the end of your shift, you'll walk out the door (still smiling) knowing the children are continuing to develop in body, mind, and spirit.
You'll be great in this role if you… Have infectious enthusiasm and passion in early years education and care Have a degree or diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent Have an understanding of the National Education and Care Services Regulations 2012, the EYLF and the NQF Can reflect on your previous experience implementing programs in an Early Learning Centre (or similar) Can obtain a HLTAID012 First Aid Certificate, National Police Clearance and Working with Children check Our latest survey results At the Y WA, we thrive on feedback and deeply value our people's insights that drive positive change.
