General Manager - Sales, Service & Marketing | ANZ role | IT Hardware | Indirect Sales | Northern Beaches

Our client is an internationally renowned IT Hardware business with headquarters in Asia. The Australia and New Zealand business is headquartered out of the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
The organisation has a range of specialist equipment and a diverse customer base that could range from niche graphic arts & design customers, to printing, textiles and 3D milling used in dentistry.
The organisation is looking to hire a new leader for their commercial operations, to help drive the business into a "back to growth" strategy, and be the person to succession plan the Managing Director in the coming years.
Your new role
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the Sales, Service and Marketing functions of the team.
The Sales team consists of a Sales Manager and a team of 5 sales professionals who sell both to end users (25%) to large corporate clients, and the education and government sectors, and 75% to small - medium-sized enterprises via specialist distributors across Australia, and a Master Distributor in New Zealand.
The Service Manager has a team of 9 Service Agents that assist their end users in metro areas with technical aspects of service, maintenance and spare parts, whilst supporting independent service agents in regional locations.
The Marketing Manager leads a team of 3, and is responsible for the marketing & communications out to market along with new product development and roll out across the region.
This team leads a strong commercial leader to challenge the status quo to inspire growth, whilst respecting the past and a very loyal and tenured team and customer base.
What you'll need to succeed
EXPERIENCE:
* An experienced commercial leader with experience of managing B2B Sales, Service and Marketing teams of their respective organisations.
* Proven track record of developing teams, expanding revenue lines with new client acquisitions and account growth.
* Preferable background in aligned industry selling technology products which could be Printing, Audio / Visual or other IT Hardware.
* Dual knowledge of selling to both Direct into Corporate, Education & Government, and Indirect via Distribution / Channel partners.
