An exciting opportunity now exists for an experienced Legal Assistant to join our Corporate/M&A team in Sydney to support a partner and their team and contribute to the delivery of high quality legal support.
This is a 12 month parental leave cover position.
You will be working closely with a partner and a team of market leading lawyers on matters for high profile clients, delivering exceptional performance to enable the team to provide outstanding client service.
We are looking for a legal assistant who can work in a fast paced high volume practice.
You will be someone who can be proactive and work collaboratively in a team environment with a strong initiative for providing administrative support.
Key responsibilities Liaising with clients and stakeholders File management Managing calendars Billing, time coding and reporting Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation) Assisting with events and business development activities Required skills and personal attributes Outstanding organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel) Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients At Corrs, we help you achieve your ambition - at every stage of your career.
