With ongoing demand and growth our Advisory practice has an amazing opportunity for a Bids & Pursuits Manager to help shape and accelerate our sales growth within our teams.In this role, you will take the lead in managing all Bid and Tender processes for our key deliverables in Professional Services, supporting each practice as well as the sales and pursuits teams. You will collaborate closely with our growth sales engagement teams to identify opportunities that highlight the transformative benefits of partnering with our teams for tailored enterprise solutions.The role is responsible for managing the workflow of governance and oversight across deals. You will play a key role in ensuring a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery, building lasting relationships, and achieving outstanding results.Key Responsibilities Managing the Bid Process: Oversee the bid and proposal qualification process for new opportunities. Bid Coordination: Organise incoming bid requests and proposal responses, managing customer, tender, and deal data effectively. Team Management: Lead all bids and gather input from various internal stakeholders, while liaising with both internal and external parties to develop bid strategies. Bid Checkpoints: Manage bid checkpoints for the Deal Desk, including the go/no-go process, deal shaping, and the deal and commercial review board. Commercial Preparation: Prepare and review the commercial aspects of bids, ensuring that all services are included in the final pricing for the customer and are well-integrated. Risk Management: Track and manage risks throughout the bid process. Proposal Oversight: Oversee all aspects of proposal preparation, ensuring quality and timely submission of compelling bids. Timely Delivery: Ensure the prompt delivery of compliant and commercially sound bids. Concise Responses: Articulate responses that directly address requirements, shaping them concisely. Material Leverage: Utilise previous materials to enhance the efficiency of responses. Transition Support: Assist delivery teams during the transition period of new contracts. Post-Bid Reviews: Arrange all post-bid reviews with customers after contract awards and gather feedback on lost bids to improve future opportunities. Requirement Review: Review all customer requirements to ensure they are met in the proposal, collaborating with various parties to include all necessary information. Leadership: Coaching customer facing peers (sales, practices) for success on the entire deal cycle to generate larger deals and new business opportunities Building Relationships: Providing potential and current customers with excellent customer service; working quickly to develop and implement solutions through the tendering processes. Tracking: Maintain RFx tracking data and provide monthly reporting data as required Qualifications Engineering or commercial background, with relevant tertiary qualification. Understanding of our service offerings in Cloud, Digital, Data, and Digital Management services. Proven experience in negotiation and building client relationships, along with a strong understanding of contract management and cost optimization. Strong skills in project management, analytics, and problem-solving, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects independently. Experience in creating and delivering high-stakes presentations. Effective communicator, especially in articulating program plans, proposals, and results.
