We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to join us in our Infrastructure Development team in Melbourne, Victoria or Brisbane, Queensland on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Team Lead – E&I Engineering, you will be an expert in engineering projects and disciplines, who applies advanced knowledge and skills in engineering principles, methods, and tools, solves complex technical problems and delivers high-quality specialist solutions, and communicates effectively with various stakeholders and disciplines. The Senior E&I Engineer also conducts research, develops new technologies, or contributes to the improvement and standardisation of engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage engineering projects and programs in various domains and contexts, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
* Solve complex technical problems and deliver high-quality specialist solutions, using innovation, creativity, and change management skills.
* Communicate effectively and collaboratively with various audiences and disciplines, using appropriate verbal, written, and visual methods and tools
* Demonstrate ethical and professional conduct, and adhere to relevant standards, codes, and regulations in engineering practice.
* Ability to fulfill a coaching role and be an effective member of a multi-disciplinary project team
Your background
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering admitting to corporate membership of the Institution of Engineers, Australia or equivalent.
* Relevant experience in the design, construction, operation or maintenance of gas transmission, gas processing, LNG, chemical process power generation, utilities or associated industries;
* Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements, Australian and international codes and standards.
* Solid working knowledge with detailed engineering design of electrical, Instrumentation and facilities to AS3000, AS60079, AS1768, AS4853 and other relevant standards
