Our Opportunity:
As a Maintenance Planner at Thales Australia, you will play a pivotal role in organising production and repair activities. Your expertise will drive the development of work orders to meet demand, ensuring optimal achievement of time, cost, and quality while upholding Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. You'll be at the forefront of continuous improvement initiatives and will develop maintenance period work packages for the assigned asset. This includes the identification of all requirements to execute each maintenance (Preventative and Corrective) and engineering change incorporation work order. You will liaise with the Scheduler, Engineering Services and Supply Chain Services to capture and communicate these requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and manage plans, ensuring strong data integrity and adherence to planning standards.
2. Coordinate with Supply Chain Services to optimise stock status and resource utilisation.
3. Implement planning strategies in the CMMS and ERP systems, including supply chain indicators.
4. Collaborate with key parties to ensure consistency in production and repair activities.
5. Monitor progress and resolve potential issues in procurement, production, and repair.
How about you?
6. Mastery of Industrial Information Systems (CMMS, ERP, MRP, PLM).
7. Minimum of five years' postgraduate or trade industrial experience, with a focus on ship-related technical experience.
8. In-depth knowledge of maintenance management, supply chain processes, and Just-in-Time production.
