About the opportunity:
This is an exciting role supporting activities conducted across Tax, Treasury and Insurance for Holcim's Australian and New Zealand (ANZ) operations.
The role is a great opportunity for a skilled professional to further their career in an environment which is supportive and collaborative. The role reports to the Head of Tax and Treasury ANZ and will support a range of activities conducted in the Tax and Treasury function for ANZ. These activities include tax reporting, tax compliance, tax advisory, treasury reporting, management of financial risks and insurance.
This position is based in the heart of North Sydney, surrounded by an array of excellent cafes and restaurants, making it a vibrant and convenient location to work.
Detailed responsibilities are found in the Position Description which is available upon request and will include the following for ANZ:
6. Tax compliance, including assisting with reviewing quarterly income tax calculations, tax group reporting packages, tax returns, GST returns, FBT returns and fuel tax credit calculations.
7. Tax advisory, including providing tax advice to business units and specialist functions and assisting with tax related aspects of projects.
8. Treasury reporting, including cashflow forecasting and preparing treasury reporting packages.
9. Treasury risk management, including assisting with liquidity and FX hedging requirements and bank platform management.
10. Insurance, including assisting with insurance policy renewals and ad-hoc insurance queries.
About You:
11. Degree Qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business or Law.
12. 1 to 3 years PQE experience.
13. Strong desire to grow knowledge base, expand capabilities and skillset.
14. Developing knowledge of Australian tax laws .
15. Knowledge of accounting principles and financial systems.
16. Sound analytical and problem-solving skills and high initiative.
17. Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
18. Proficiency in Excel and SAP.
