Our Senior Account Executive Federal Government role is focused on a small number of Key and Strategic Accounts, while playing a leadership face for OpenText in Federal Government.
In Federal Government, our customers are aggressively driving their applications business to the cloud.
You will be recently experienced in transforming a traditional Enterprise Software business to the cloud.
You're great at: Extremely self-motivated and an individual who likes to make things happen.Balancing this with an ability to listen and take the time in a conversation to really understand what your customers and peers are saying.Displaying an ability to challenge effectively and to make quick, logical and wise decisions that drive positive customer outcomes.Not afraid to fail and on the rare occasions this happens you tend to do so quickly.An individual that can manage very large and complex deals in some of the biggest organisations and know how to orchestrate customers, partners and internal teams to drive a successful outcome.Can assess situations quickly are comfortable making decisions and have a tendency to make the right call when making a decision.Persistence is a natural part of yourself and you have a centered inner composure and self-assurance that empowers you to successfully work through complex problems and situations.Competitive by nature, get excited by taking on new challenges and are determined to succeed.Having a unique ability to build deep and meaningful relationships with the most senior executives in the organisations you engage with.What it takes: You have a track record of at least 5+ years of selling Software Solutions in government or significant experience in consulting to or in government.You have experience working on cloud-based, on-premises or hybrid solutions.You can demonstrate how to identify, develop, and navigate large government businesses.You have a strong knowledge of the customer buying process.Demonstrate strong sales methodologies and the use of tools to achieve and exceed your targets.Whether it is the challenge of developing large accounts or finding untapped opportunities in your existing client base, the opportunity to grow our business is what drives your efforts every day.You are intellectually curious, easily grasp new products and solutions, and bring the spirit of innovation to your customers.Completed post-secondary education and a passion for continuous learning.OpenText's efforts to build an inclusive work environment go beyond simply complying with applicable laws.
