This is an independent role where you will be responsible for managing your own time. The role will require some travel to both areas; however, you will be based in Tamworth.Relocation assistance will also be considered for the right applicant.About the OpportunityThe role of the Mental Health Clinician with HASI Plus is a lead clinical role across the New England and Hunter area with one of Australia’s leading providers of comprehensive mental health support services. HASI Plus is a collaborative, residential support program delivered by Flourish Australia & the Hunter New England LHD.HASI Plus provides residential support to people with severe and persistent mental health issues & complex needs. This is achieved through effective collaboration with people we support, their families or carers, Flourish Australia staff, NSW Health, and various other stakeholders. The Mental Health Clinician will play a vital role in supporting participants, providing clinical advice, liaising with state-wide health agencies to promote our services, developing and implementing in-house training, as well as maintaining professional relationships across the local health district and allied health industry.About YouThe Mental Health Clinician with HASI Plus will design and facilitate proactive, person-directed interventions to enhance the individual's understanding of their mental health issues, promote their self-determination, choices and resilience, and develop opportunities for community integration and citizenship.
