**Job Summary**
Nganampa Health Council is seeking Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives to join their teams in South Australia. As a key member of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver primary healthcare in accordance with the CARPA Standard Treatment Manual and assist in the early detection and management of chronic illness.
About the Role
* Collaborate with medical officers, program staff, Anangu staff, and other health personnel to provide primary healthcare.
* Treat acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions, manage computerised recalls, and conduct patient follow-up care.
* Child health monitoring and immunisations.
* Administer adult and COVID-19 vaccinations across all age groups.
* Assess and refer social welfare issues.
* Conduct public health screenings for communicable diseases including STIs, HIV / AIDS, Hepatitis A, B, and C.
* Manage antenatal and postnatal care.
* Support job-specific education for training Anangu staff.
* Perform day-to-day clinic administration tasks.
About You
* Be a Registered Nurse or an RN and Registered Midwife, registered with the National Board of Nursing and Midwifery.
* Have at least 3 years of post-graduation work experience, with recent acute medical / A&E exposure.
* Have demonstrated experience working in a clinical environment and hospital-based general nursing experience in the past 3 years (both of which are essential).
* Hold post-basic nursing qualifications in emergency care, advanced nursing, or rural / remote area nursing (desirable but not essential).
* Be highly computer literate, as health records are fully digital.
* Display strong cultural awareness and respect.
* Have advanced clinical skills and confidence in managing diverse patient presentations, including trauma, acute, and chronic conditions across all age groups.
* Midwives must have significant experience in acute general work within the past 5 years.

Requirements
* Manual driver's licence is essential, and familiarity with 4WD vehicles is advantageous (4WD training is provided during orientation).
