Our teams are forever growing, and we are so thrilled to be on the hunt for our next experienced and passion Carer or as we like to call them in Feros – Community Support Worker, to join our Far Hervey Bay/Fraser Coast QLD Team – We are currently seeking applications for Permanent Part time Time Community Support Workers to support clients in the Hervey Bay through to Maryborough QLD Suburbs and Surrounds.
Your Role:
You will be out and about in the community, working with clients to achieve their health and wellbeing goals. You will provide a range of services to our valued clients, including:
· Domestic assistance - all aspects of housework, spring cleaning, laundry, making beds, tidying rooms, storing clothes, cleaning wardrobes, meal preparation, light gardening work and care of indoor plants, domestic maintenance tasks.
· Transporting clients to and from shopping, doctors and social appointments
· In-home respite, provide end of life care support
· Social and emotional support - assistance with use of phones and computer devices, attending client activities
· Preparing light meals + Feed Assistance
Salary and benefits:
· Salary Range: $31.32 p/hour + 11.5% superannuation + 17.5% Annual Leave Loading.
· Tax-Free Benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a. + Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax).
· Travel Reimbursement: 99c per km.
· Equipment: Smartphone and specific tools provided.
· Support: Full rostering and administrative support for appointment management.
· Professional Development: Training opportunities and career advancement.
· Parental Leave: 9 weeks paid (for eligible applicants)
About You:
· If you come with a strong cleaning/domestic handy person experience, who LOVES to clean and is passionate about wanting to change their career - then we want to hear from you!
· A passion for working within the Community as with the Elderly – we want to hear your why, you want to work in Aged Care.
· Current and unrestricted Australian drivers’ licence and ability to travel using own vehicle
· Current vehicle registration including compulsory third-party personal injury insurance
· Current First Aid Certificate (Mandatory) and must present this before commencement with us.
· Availability throughout Monday – Friday, we operated between the hours of 7am-7pm. The more days and openness with availability, the more hours you will gain!
