Collaborates With: General Manager, CEO, Business Development Manager, Program Sales Team Leader
About the Role:
Quest for Life Foundation is seeking an experienced and meticulous Accountant to join their team. This role is essential in managing their financial operations, ensuring compliance with statutory and management accounting, and supporting their strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Management:
* Lead annual audits, prepare draft financial statements, and implement audit recommendations.
* Prepare budgets, forecasts, monthly accounts, and Board reports.
* Manage cashflow, MYOB system, and establish key performance indicators.
* Ensure compliance with all BAS, IAS, SGL, GST, and ACNC reporting requirements.
Accounts Receivable and Payable:
* Oversee credit control, ensuring timely reconciliation and follow-up on outstanding payments.
* Handle payables, approving supplier invoices, and processing payments accurately.
Payroll:
* Supervise payroll processes, ensuring compliance with legislation and accurate calculation of SGL and group tax payments.
Shop Management:
* Oversee stock management and ordering, supporting the Accounts Assistant in shop sales during program weeks.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Degree in Accounting (CPA or Chartered Accountant preferred).
* Minimum of 5 years in financial transactions, payroll, and accounts management for a small business/organisation.
* Proficient in MYOB, Advanced Excel skills, and familiar with various accounting software.
* Strong analytical, reconciliation, and management accounting skills.
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities, with a proactive and ethical approach.
