Reporting to our Head of Government and Industry this is a fantastic key leadership opportunity for the next step in your career. This role can be based in our national support office in Melbourne or also out of Canberra - please note we don't have an office in Canberra so there would be a requirement for regular travel to Melbourne as part of this role.Leading a small team, this role will build and maintain strong relationships with key industry bodies, associations and stakeholders relevant to our operations. There will be a focus on monitoring and influencing policy developments and advocating Bunnings' interests. This is a role which will help to create a favourable external environment that supports Bunnings' strategic objectives and fosters positive industry relationships.Day to day some of the activities you will be focused on developing and building strong relationships with key industry associations and government officials. You will be responsible for monitoring and analysing policy developments and assess their potential impact on our business as well as representing Bunnings at any industry events, conferences and meetings.
