Peacock House opened in 2023, and focuses on providing warm, welcoming and trauma-informed care to people experiencing mental health relapse or distress. Peacock House works closely with the peer lead services at Peacock Centre, including the Integration Hub, the Safe Haven and the Recovery College.
The Role :
Undertake the delivery of quality specialist community-based inpatient assessments, care and treatment to consumers of the Acute Treatment Unit (ATU). ATU is based on best practice principles including Recovery Oriented Practice, the Triangle of Care framework & Trauma Informed Care and within a collaborative and multi-disciplinary framework.
Details of appointment :
Permanent, part-time, day worker position, working 68.4 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
* Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary :
$110,425 to $126,703 pro rata per annum + our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
* Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.
* Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
* Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum.

Eligibility :
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria :
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). Eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW); or
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia and Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia; or
* Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia and registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
