The role As the New Product Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the creation and launch of new products from their manufacturing facilities.
Reporting to the Senior FS&Q Manager APAC, your role will involve driving innovation and managing the product development process from ideation to commercialisation.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, marketing, FS&Q, and manufacturing to define project scopes, establish timelines, allocate resources, and ensure adherence to budgets.
Your focus will be on conducting market research, gathering customer insights, and analysing competitive landscapes to identify new product opportunities and maintain a pipeline of development initiatives.
You will demonstrate proficiency in identifying and mitigating risks throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring a smooth process from ideation to launch.
A solid understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to product development and launch is essential, including an understanding of international food regulations.
Additionally, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the product development team, driving enhancements and efficiencies throughout the process.
Skills & Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in FMCG or Food Production industries.
Bachelor's degree or above in a food-related field.
Previous experience in product management, project management, or related roles.
Strong leadership qualities to motivate teams, foster innovation and drive results.
Proven track record of successfully launching new products.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with stakeholder, present product concepts and facilitate decision making.
