This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity based primarily at Cairns; however, you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.Key Responsibilities Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focusing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.Work as part of an executive support team, prioritising tasks and managing time commitments to effectively and efficiently meet objectives for and on behalf of senior management.Provide high level and confidential business, administrative and executive support services to the Executive in relation to administrative, human resource, financial, governance, policy and operational matters.Manage executive correspondence, including the preparation and coordination of briefings, responses to correspondence, submissions, meeting papers, reports, submissions and strategic planning, budgeting and reporting documents.Undertake research on behalf of the Executive on matters relating to the strategic direction of the portfolio and prepare reports and recommendations for consideration by the Executive.Establish and maintain effective communications and professional working relationships with a broad range of internal and external clients and stakeholders including business, industry and the community at an operational level.Assist the Executive Services Manager to develop and implement executive business systems, processes, procedures and guidelines to support the effective and efficient functioning of the Executive Services team.Manage and lead staff providing ongoing guidance, performance planning and staff development.
