Status: Permanent, Full-Time (1.0 FTE) Salary range: $72,387.14 - $74,044.97 per annum dependent on skills, qualifications and experience Opportunity: The City of Albany's Civil Works Team is looking for an experienced, quality and safety focused Specialist Grader Operator.
Reporting to the Civil Supervisor – Rural Maintenance, this role will see you responsible for undertaking construction and maintenance works using a grader in a manner which complies with the City's specified work standards.
The Civil Works Team perform a wide range of tasks including road installation and maintenance, drainage, concrete works, signage, road sweeping, fencing and general maintenance.
About You: To be successful in this role you must have; Excellent interpersonal skills, Basic oral, written and numeracy skills A 'HR Class' drivers licence; Previous experience working in a civil construction team; A minimum of 3 years' experience specialist plant operator (grader operator); and The ability to train others in the use of a grader.
A Certificate III in Civil Construction (desirable).
