Please note, this is a Part Time 0.6 FTE position which can be spread across 3 days or more days with flexible hours.

Job Description
Help people living with illness, disability, or injury return to work or obtain new employment and live the best life they can!
* Work collaboratively with injured workers, potential employers, and your internal team of allied health professionals to provide safe, sustainable opportunities for workers to re-enter the workforce;
* Contribute to injured workers ability to achieve return to work goals through job skills development, confidence building and promoting independence;
* Apply and deliver customer service in employment services and job placement;
* Empower clients to effectively present their skills and abilities when seeking employment;
* Broker new employment opportunities in the Hobart area and surrounds, which in turn provide a swift re-engagement into employment for workers who have been detached from the workplace due to a workplace injury (physical and/or psychological);
* Build strong relationships with local employers and organisations;
* Complete written progress and various other reports on a regular basis.
Qualifications
* Experience in Occupational and/ or Vocational Rehabilitation is highly desirable
* Previous experience in Employment services / Disability Employment or recruitment;
* Strong resume writing skills
* A passion for assisting people to gain employment and enhance their careers;
* The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers;
* Understanding of the unique labour market in Tasmania advantageous
* Current driver licence and motor vehicle.
