We create enjoyable, adventurous, and educational environments that complement our passion for educating children About the Role An exciting job share opportunity has come up, the Receptionist/Administration Officer role is the first point of contact for clients and families over the phone and at reception. This role works flexibly and collaboratively supporting the overall day to day functioning of the office covering reception, Business Services Team support and coverage, and includes EA duties. You will be the first point of contact for clients and families. Key responsibilities include: Customer Service: First point of contact for clients and families; answer all incoming calls and provide complete phone coverage, address and re-direct emails, and enquiries Filing & Archiving: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records via online databases and internal digital filing systems as required Provide general administrative support & cover to the Business Services team; including centre-based finance tasks such as bank reconciliations and payment applications Provide general administrative support to the Family Day Care Educators Provide some EA support to the executive team as required Key Performance Indicators are: Effective Communication: Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution and negotiation skills. Receptionists/Administration Officers must be effective communicators, team players and have demonstrated interest in the day to day running of the administrative side of the organisation. Individual Responsibility: Take individual responsibility for reception & administration tasks. Accurate & Timely: Provide accurate and relevant information, statistics and data to management and teams as required. Time Management: Demonstrate well-developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment. Customer Service: Facilitate excellent client service (both internally and externally) and assist clients to access the correct team for their enquiry. About You Ideally, we are looking for someone with experience in a similar reception/administration position. You will share our passion in implementing our mission to provide a network of community-based Education and Care services that focus on empowering children in a fun and safe environment. The successful candidate will have: At least 4 year's customer service/reception experience in a similar role High attention to detail Excellent MS office suite and data base systems experience Well-developed time management and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines The ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment A great sense of humour, compassionate and ability to connect with all our clients and go the extra mile!
