Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
3. Be responsible for CHQ's financial accounting reconciliations and contributing to the delivery of financial reporting requirements including the Statutory Financial Statements and applicable accounting note disclosures. The role will rotate over time across all financial accounting responsibilities as required by the Manager Financial Control.
4. Provide expert guidance and advice to the Manager Financial Control and Director, Financial Control and Assurance on financial accounting policies, reporting and analysis.
5. Lead, in conjunction with the Manager Financial Control, the development and maintenance of appropriate reporting systems, policies, procedures, guidelines and systems to facilitate effective financial management at Children's Health Queensland.
