The Alfred Hospital's Radiology Department is one of Melbourne's leading tertiary teaching and trauma hospitals.
The Role
The Grade 3 General Radiographer is a leadership role working with and at the direction of the Grade 4 General Supervisor.
* Facilitating daily operations
* Providing training, feedback and support to staff
* Communicating effectively and respectfully
* Promoting a culture of safety
* Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
* Participating in quality improvement and change projects
The successful candidate will rotate through all aspects of general x-ray including inpatients, outpatient, emergency, theatre and mobile radiography.
There is a requirement to participate in after-hours shift and on call services due to the department's 24-hour operation.
Qualifications and Experience Required
Bachelor of Applied Science in Medical Radiations or equivalent
* Eligibility for A.S.M.I.R.T.
* Statement of Compliance National Registration with AHPRA to practice as a Medical Imaging Technologist
* Victorian Department of Health Use Licence
* Evidence of CPD in line with registration requirements
