With the Defence Industry expanding rapidly in Western Australia, Wilson Security is seeking Security / Access Control Officers to support our Defence Base Security Services operations across the region.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Physical Access Control DutiesProviding strong Customer Service solutions to visitors, contractors & clientProactively monitoring CCTV and Access Control SystemsConducting building patrols to actively report and mitigate security & safety risksIdentifying and reporting hazards and building faults for rectificationProviding support to tenants and FacilitiesManaging contractors and deliveries through dock managementResponding to emergency situationsThis is a unique opportunity for those with a background in ADF, security, policing, prisons or customer service to transition into a dynamic and rewarding role.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Be available to work 12-hour shifts, including nights/weekends (24/7 availability)4/4 Rosters (2 days, 2 nights, 4 Off)Other rosters also available – Including FIFO Perth on 7 days on 7 days off basis.Take pride in their presentation and bearing in all interactions.Be adaptable to an ever-changing environment.Able to write a detailed incident report.Able to recollect critical information from an incident.Be a lateral thinker and problem solver, resolving issues that may arise.Understand the chain of command and correct escalation process.Ability to provide detailed and factually accurate reports on security incidents and HSE hazards both electronic or paper reports.Have sound basic IT skills using a range of software.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MUST be an Australian CitizenCurrent Valid WA Security LicenceA current and valid WA Driver's LicenceA current First Aid CertificateDESIRABLE: ADF Veterans highly encouraged to applySecurity Clearances from other Commonwealth agencies are available to be transferred as well!Wilson Security is an employer of choice, engaging with our people both online and in person.
