Harvest Pub Operation 2 Pty Ltd are searching for experience chefs to join the kitchen team at The Woy Woy Hotel. This role will suit people who have creative flare coupled with strong technical skills. The ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment is critical.
You will be responsible for maintaining the highest level of food standards. This position will strongly influence the overall performance and reputation of the hotel in the local community.
DUTIES
The duties you will be expected to complete in this position include but are not limited to:
* Planning innovative and seasonal menus that will work well within our restaurant
* Undertaking stock inventory and ordering food supplies
* Overseeing meal standards from preparation to table service ensuring quality control
* Working with managers and all staff regarding food preparation issues
* Training cooks/chefs in food preparation techniques and cooking procedures
* Preparing, cooking, and presenting dishes
* Maintaining and enforcing food hygiene and occupational health and safety standards
* Storing, freezing and preserving foods per safety regulations
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum two years of full-time experience as a qualified chef and certificate IV in commercial cookery (or similar) OR
* For the right candidate, at least three years of experience as a chef in a restaurant setting may substitute the formal qualification.

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
