The role focuses on ensuring excellence in infection prevention and control, safeguarding patients, staff, and visitors. The CNC will offer guidance, education, and support on best practices, develop policies, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Travel will be required as part of this role.We are looking for a highly organised and proactive individual with excellent communication and time management skills. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, initiative, and the ability to prioritise effectively. While experience in infection control is preferred, a willingness to learn is essential. Our team consists of a Medical Director, Nurse Manager, Clinical Nurse Consultants, Clinical Nurse Specialist, Epidemiologist, and an Executive Assistant. The Executive team are located in Newcastle, John Hunter Hospital Innovation Precinct.
