What you will be doing
WorkPac is currently seeking skilled Trade Assistants for our client in Kewdale. We have both day and afternoon shifts available, offering 40 hours per week with day rates starting at $39 per hour. We are looking for Trade Assistants who are proficient with hand and power tools, have experience with welding, and can operate a forklift when needed. Depending on your experience, you will collaborate with a team across various areas of the manufacturing process, including mining resources and galvanizing.
In this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of safety protocols and a demonstrated track record of low absenteeism in previous positions. Additionally, proficiency in both written and spoken English is essential, along with experience in machine operation. You should also have proven problem-solving skills and reliable transportation. A positive, can-do attitude that aligns with the company's goals and directives is crucial for success.

Forklift Licence (Essential)
Additional tickets such as Working at Heights, Work Platform & Confined Space
Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident
Valid Australian Drivers Licence
Ability to pass a Medical including Drug and Alcohol Screening
