About the role:
As a Community Care Worker, you will join our team in Griffith in providing a range of support services to clients of Forrest Community Services in their own homes or in the community. Engaging and supporting a client’s social, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs will always be at the core of your service. You will be responsible for providing:
* Personal care – including showering, toileting, dressing, grooming and assistance with meals.
* Domestic assistance – including general household duties.
* Social support – connecting clients to the community.
About you:
We believe our clients deserve extraordinary support and care. While industry qualifications are important, we also look for the right person with the right values to fit our team. We're looking for someone who:
* Has a genuine interest in the aged care industry.
* Can communicate effectively with clients, family members and staff.
* Holds a current “C” class licence and has their own vehicle with full comprehensive insurance.
* Is trained in First Aid/CPR or is willing to undergo training.
* Ideally has qualifications and previous work experience in aged care or the health sector.

The Forrest Centre is founded on spiritual support and personal connection, we are a Riverina-based aged care provider. With almost 40 years of experience, we are a registered charity dedicated to ensuring elderly people in the region receive the care they deserve. Our services include at-home care through Forrest Community Services for people across the Riverina including Wagga, Griffith, Narrandera, Tumbarumba, and Tumut. These services are provided so that our clients can continue to live their life, at home with as much independence as possible.
