Your main responsibilities will include:Business advisory calls with a wide range of business clients in a diverse range of different industries.Identify opportunities to upsell advisory calls into tax compliance plans and/or formal tax advice.Advise clients on various accounting and tax-related matters including:the benefits of different structures including family trusts and multiple company structures.GST-related questions.Personal services income questions.Optimal way for clients to get cash out of their business.Best practices for managing accounting software files.Finance function and bookkeeping questions.ESOP best practices and how it may work for client's businesses.Other accounting and tax advice questions as they arise.Utilise Lawpath's custom software to summarise advisory calls and schedule future calls.Research tax rulings, tax determinations and tax legislation to provide relevant and up-to-date tax advice.About you:The ideal candidate will:Minimum 4+ years' of experience in a chartered accounting firm in Australia.CA or CPA qualified.Strong communication and effective problem-solving abilities, combined with the capacity to thrive in a collaborative team environment.Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and more is highly desirable.Be a strong communicator and enjoy building long-lasting relationships.Amazing benefits we'll provide:Our benefits are designed to help everyone enjoy a fulfilling, productive and balanced life in & out of work.
