You will assist with the day-to-day operations, overseeing staff, managing stock, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.Key Responsibilities: Daily Operations: Assist the Venue Manager with the overall management of the hotel's operations, including opening and closing procedures, staff supervision, and inventory control.Team Leadership: Prepare rosters, oversee staff training and development, and ensure high customer service standards are maintained.Customer Service: Handle customer requests, complaints, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere throughout the venue.Stock Management: Manage ordering, stock control, and financial planning to optimize hotel expenditure.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing laws, health and safety regulations, and other relevant statutory guidelines.Financial Duties: Balance cash registers, manage shift takings, and investigate any discrepancies or variances.Event Support: Work with the team to plan, promote, and deliver events and functions within the hotel.Communication: Maintain effective communication with staff and customers, ensuring all policies, procedures, and service standards are understood and implemented.Key Selection Criteria: Current qualifications in Responsible Service of Gaming (RSG) and Responsible Management of Licensed Venue (RMLV).Diploma in Hospitality Management or equivalent qualification and/or substantial experience in hotel management.Demonstrated experience managing hotel operations, including staff supervision and customer service.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to resolve customer complaints and negotiate with suppliers effectively.Why Join Us?
