Are you an experienced Disability Support Worker/cleaner looking to step into a rewarding role that allows you to combine your professional skill and passion for participant care?
An exciting opportunity has become available for suitable candidates to provide individualized care and support to participants in their houses and meet their goals.
As a Disability Support Worker, your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Providing personal care such as showering, dressing and grooming to Participants.
2. Assisting with domestic tasks such as cooking, household cleaning and laundry.
3. Providing social and transportation support, including driving Participants to medical appointments and assisting with grocery shopping.
4. Candidate must be able to work varied shifts, seven days per week, with varying shift hours. Flexible roster.
Selection Criteria:
1. Experience in the community health sector.
2. Certificate III or IV in Community Services/Disability/Aged Care or experience working in the disability sector (if applicable).
3. Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
4. Current National Police Clearance no more than 12 months old.
5. Current Full Driver’s License.
6. Current Covid-19 Immunisation Certificate.
7. NDIS Workers Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
Job Types: Casual
Salary: $38.50 per hour
