Learning and Development LeadAre you passionate about enhancing employee engagement, on-demand learning and delivering in a fast moving, change oriented environment?Our client is seeking an experienced Learning and Development Lead to play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s capability and employee experience strategies.About the Role:As the Learning and Development Lead, you will identify training needs, develop effective learning programs, and oversee strategic people initiatives that foster a positive and engaging work environment. Reporting to the General Manager, People and Culture, you will lead a team comprising a Capability Lead and Learning and Development Consultant.Key Responsibilities:Collaborate actively within the People and Culture team, aligning with the organisation’s values.Develop and execute a comprehensive Learning and Development strategy that enhances employee capabilities and supports organisational objectives.Create and deliver an exceptional end-to-end employee experience.Identify skills and competency gaps within the organisation and design targeted training programs to address them.Manage and maintain the organisational capability framework to meet current and future needs.Support leaders in developing position descriptions and evaluating roles aligned with the capability framework.Develop career development pathways and succession plans in collaboration with leaders.Leverage people data to provide strategic insights that drive informed decision-making.Develop and configure HRMS modules to deliver best-practice people processes.Assist the General Manager, People and Culture, in strategic planning initiatives.What We’re Looking For:A team player committed to fostering growth and development.Someone who can identify learning gaps and pivot accordingly.An excellent communicator who builds strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.A collaborative leader who thrives on coaching and motivating others.A strategic thinker who can convert vision into action with energy and momentum.An inquisitive problem-solver with a proactive mindset.Experienced in driving innovation and adopting new ways of working.Skills and Experience Required:8+ years of experience as an HR generalist or L&D practitioner, with a strong focus on delivering capability development programs.Proven project and change management skills, including leading successful L&D initiatives.Proficiency in ELMO or similar HRMS systems.Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills.Experience in strategic planning, budget development, and management.Demonstrated ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).Certifications in L&D, OD, HR, or Change Management are highly regarded.Incentives:6 RDOs a year, plus 2 extra leave daysHybrid working options – work 2 days from homeA supportive and energetic team environmentInsurance for staff to protect them from salary loss if they are ill or injured for an extended periodLeave loading allowanceWellbeing support via our Employee Assistance Program and rotating wellness offersWhy Join?
