South Australian Arid Lands Landscape Board Job reference: 634201 Location: 5700 - PORT AUGUSTA Job status: Long Term Contract Eligibility: Open to Everyone The Landscape Field Officer will support the delivery of key board projects and will be a hands on role assisting with projects out in the field and at the board’s office and workshop. You will be working primarily with the Biosecurity team in various activities related to pest animal and weed control. This will include providing support for pest plant and animal control operations, awareness raising and promotion of control methods monitoring, collecting and collating data and participating in relevant regional events/workshops. Logistics support for field trips as well as vehicle and equipment preparation and maintenance is a key part of the role, with similar support provided to other projects as required in the Ecology and Agriculture teams.
