The Medicare Mental Health Centre, supported by funding from Western NSW Primary Health Network through the Australian Government's PHN Program, will provide the community with a free, safe and welcoming space to access mental health advice, supports and services.
The Clinical Manager will support the Centre Manager in the establishment of the new service, overseeing the development and implementation of the clinical operations and systems for centres in Bathurst and Dubbo.
Key Responsibilities:
* Day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality clinical care provision
* Ensure all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met
* Monitor the quality of services to consumers and provide clinical leadership, management, and developmental support
Requirements:
* General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
* Experience leading a multidisciplinary team or extensive experience as a Senior Clinician providing clinical support to a team
* Highly developed communication skills and ability to engage with consumers and establish effective relationships with staff, clients, families & friends, and stakeholders
