Hybrid Agency : Havas Media Job Description Summary : As an Account Director you will lead the strategic planning process across key clients and major projects, by managing client businesses on a daily basis, being accountable for the client team output, and managing staff & time within the team. You will oversee the strategic thinking, drive integration across disciplines (mostly between media, social, digital & creative/content), ensure presentations and ideas deliver against client objectives, and deliver quality assurance, accurate and actionable insights and productive & efficient work processes (reduce client day to day workload). Job Description : Your primary responsibilities include: Client & Account Management: Liaising with clients while empowering autonomy from the client team, building strong relationships, identifying positive opportunities to grow client satisfaction and revenues, responding to client briefs, resolving client issues, attend internal/external meetings and WIPs with brand managers/directors and internal teams as required. Fulfilling administrative duties with support from the client team including plan maintenance, invoicing & budget reconciliation, meeting co-ordination and the processing of day-to-day activity, requests and enquiries from assigned brand teams. Support and take direction from the Group Business Director and ensure our best practice and thought leadership initiatives are applied in earnest. Integration (cross-discipline): Proactively seeking out opportunities to drive integrated solutions across Havas disciplines (e.g., social, programmatic, SEM, SEO, ecomm, CX Havas PLAY), leading the collaboration across departments to ensure alignment with the overall comms strategy. Instil a unified working culture & operating rhythm. Process (procedures/quality control): Take thorough briefs for all client work and prepare internal briefs and debriefs with accuracy, consideration and thought. Work to develop project plans setting out goals, strategy, resource allocation, risk, and contingencies for client work. Manage presentations of recommendations, including integrated responses, ensuring adherence to client brief & overall comms strategy. Ensure all deadlines/project milestones are documented and communicated clearly to clients & internal teams. Financial Management: Ensure disciplined tracking & reconciliations of client expenditure with a commitment to total accuracy when dealing with company finances and client budgets. Troubleshoot any billing issues on client accounts. Input into client revenue forecasting, ensuring appropriate and immediate escalation to the Group Business Director regarding any significant client budget changes. Innovation & Education: Seek out publishers / technology providers who have something new and interesting that may be applicable to our clients, proactively sharing relevant opportunities with key client leads. Drive creative thinking and inspiration amongst Havas teams by seeking out relevant case studies and sharing/presenting to the teams with a POV. Internal Collaboration: with the Havas Media Specialist teams, and the wider Havas Village agencies. You will be expected to build great relationships and work closely with all stakeholders. New Business Pitching: When appropriate you will be required to help participate and/or lead new business pitches. Live the Havas Values!
