About the role: Reporting to the Logistics Leader you will be working as part of the Aurizon maintenance team in Murrin Murrin (WA).
This is a permanent position working an 8 & 6 FIFO roster and will see you exercise your mechanical skills in assisting with the operation and maintenance requirements of the Aurizon fleet.
Responsibilities: Assist with routine servicing, corrective maintenance, and fault repair.
Perform production work including operating machines, cleaning equipment and tools and assisting trade staff as directed.
Perform general labouring duties as directed by leaders and coordinators.
Utilise and input accurate data into information and maintenance management systems.
Provide a high level of customer service to internal/external stakeholders.
About you: Proven mechanical aptitude.
Strong commitment to safety.
Current unrestricted drivers' licence (minimum HR).
High risk heavy forklift ticket.
CN / reach stacker ticket (advantage).
Front end loader ticket (advantage).
Grader ticket (advantage).
Ability to work cross functionally and as part of a team.
Experience in working in a heavy industry, working around heavy machinery.
