One of Australia's leading manufacturers in the building and infrastructure industry is currently seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Accountant to work in their supportive, small knit team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity, based in Braeside to commence as soon as possible, ideally before the Christmas period for a solid handover period. Reporting to the Financial Controller, your responsibilities include: • Maintain Fixed Asset Register • Maintain Stock register • Data Analysis – weekly / monthly reporting • Bank Reconciliations • Manage Capex Register • Some Credit management - credit notes, review credit limits • Manage stocktake – analysis on variances and provide commentary • Working with foreign currencies • Oversee and back up for AP / AR Your Skills: • Experience in a similar role as a well-rounded Assistant Accountant • Capable of working autonomously and ability to meet deadlines • Strong attention to detail • Good communication skill - written and verbal • Demonstrated Excel skill set • Self starter with a strong team focus Benefits: • Solid handover period depending on start date and your availability • Opportunity to join a leading Australian manufacturer who work across Australia and New Zealand • Supportive team environment • Onsite Parking • Opportunity to work 1 day work from home • Flexible start / finish time to suit you and your lifestyle To apply online please click on the apply link and send your resume in WORD format.
