As a Retail Customer Service Officer, you'll play a vital role in helping Australians service their own businesses, connecting millions of people, and building community resilience.

About the Role
* 12 weeks of paid on-the-job training, Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week, various shifts
* Casual on-call as required after training - Monday to Friday, rotating shifts between 8:45am to 5:06pm
* Adult pay rate $33.66 increases to $35.98 after 3 months of training + 12% superannuation
Your Key Responsibilities
* Performing customer sales and service transactions with customers
* Managing high-value transactions accurately (handling and processing cash, cheques, credit cards, and EFTPOS)
* Conducting and processing identity services transactions, including Australian Passport Interviews
* Promoting our products and services through up-selling and cross-selling, merchandising, and other promotional activities
* Assisting customers with mail lodgements and associate costs
* Building rewarding relationships with customers by understanding their needs
* Assisting with administrative duties such as stocktaking and record maintenance
About You
* You're friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, with a passion for working in a team environment
* You're committed to putting the customer at the centre of everything you do to make a difference in the community
* You have experience in customer service and/or cash handling
* You're fit to lift up to 16kg of mail regularly and stand for your shift
