QBuild is a commercialised business unit of the Queensland Government. It has been Queensland Government's builder for over 160 years, playing an important role in communities across the state by building and maintaining government-owned assets such as schools, social housing, police stations and correctional and health facilities. About the role You will play a pivotal role in supporting QBuild's ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry by managing quality assurance, performance reporting, and the supervisory team within the Maintenance Response Centre, while also enhancing customer experience and ensuring services meet quality and value expectations. Duties and skills involved: Providing a quality service through effective management and monitoring of internal and external correspondence, incoming and outgoing calls and providing responses aligned with KPIs as well as by the use of high-level interpersonal skills including negotiation, minimisation of aggression and dispute resolution as appropriate. Connecting and maintaining relationships with industry, local suppliers, and internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrating professionalism and being a positive contributor to a great team and culture and actively participating in and contributing to internal innovative activities. Ensuring high standards and accuracy when compiling documents and reports or updating records and information systems. Proactively managing the work performance and personal conduct of your staff.
