Registered Midwife - Maternity Outpatients Up to 64hrs a fortnight; fixed-term 24th March 2025 to 1st March 2026 About the role Maternity Outpatients is located offsite at 1011 Mair St Ballarat and provide antenatal care, lactation clinics, childbirth education and domiciliary care. Rostering may include some weekends, however mostly hours of operation are 0830-1700hrs, Monday to Friday, (Saturday and Sunday - Domiciliary care and some Childbirth education) Key Responsibilities Provide antenatal care high and low risk clinics Provide domiciliary care early days postnatal care in the home for mothers and neonates Multi-disciplinary team work and care co-ordination Engage and communicate with all members of the Maternity Outpatients team and allied health clinicians Skills and experience Recent antenatal care experience recommended Domiciliary Care; Care in the home for Mothers and Neonates - training provided Childbirth education – training provided Current APHRA registration (Midwifery) To view a copy of the position description click here This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024.
