it's a chance to shape the future of research and make a real impact on Australian society.Why Roy Morgan?We are not your average research company.With a legacy spanning over 80 years, we have earned an unparalleled reputation for accuracy, reliability, and meaningful insights.When you join Roy Morgan, you become part of a legacy that has helped leading organisations in the public and private sectors make better, more informed business decisions.Our work matters, and you will play a pivotal role in shaping our nation's understanding of itself.About The RoleReporting to the Head of Field Operations, as the National Field Manager you will be responsible for overseeing multiple face-to-face research projects.The role is suited to a candidate with experience leading dispersed teams, preferably in the market research industry.The purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of our field workforce, manage escalations from the team and ensure project targets and objectives are met on time, within budget constraints with effective use of available resources.To be successful in this role, you will:Manage decentralized field teams.Manage all field administrative tasks such as scheduling, recruitment, onboarding, general training and payroll queries.Performance management of interviewers to ensure a high level of productivity and skill is maintained within the field force.Field management of major projects requiring face-to-face fieldwork including door-to-door and intercept methods.Workforce planning to ensure appropriate numbers of face-to-face interviewers are available for upcoming projects.Development of training materials and implementation of training for face-to-face interviewers to ensure high quality data collection.Communicating regularly with project staff, senior management and face-to-face field staff to ensure projects are well planned and managed throughout fieldwork, including maintaining accurate documentation and reports.Managing the production and distribution of interviewer and respondent field materials.Reporting on face-to-face field projects including budgets, KPI targets and progress for key stakeholders including project staff and executive.Checking of survey questionnaire, sample management procedures and workflows impacting field to ensure accuracy and fit for purpose.Provide advice relating to innovative field solutions to improve our face-to-face field capabilities.Providing exemplary leadership to all interviewers.About YouIdeally your skill set would include:At least 5 years' experience in a similar role and working in a dynamic environment.Minimum 5 years of field management experience.Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to plan, perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly, coupled with excellent attention to detail and high-quality output.Leadership skills and demonstrated ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills and able to build effective working relationships with diverse stakeholders.Experience working with face-to-face interviewing or within the market research industry, preferable.Ability to think laterally about what the priorities are and how to prevent risks.Effective stakeholder communication and management skills.Solutions-focused with a positive and collaborative attitude, with a passion for working as part of a team and able to work autonomously with minimal direction.Good project management skills including ability to document, analyse and communicate information confidently and intelligently.Good quality checking practices ensuring reports / information produced is accurate and error free.Good understanding of the use and application of statistical tools in research analysis would be a plus.Efficient in office management systems and excellent knowledge of MS Office suite.What's In It For You?We believe in investing in our team members' growth and well-being.When you join us, you can expect:Career Progression: As a high-performing individual, you will have excellent opportunities to advance in the field or operations management.We are committed to nurturing your talent and helping you achieve your professional goals.Vibrant Work Culture: Experience the energy and camaraderie of our close-knit team of established market research professionals.Collaboration and support are not just buzzwords here -
