A dynamic high impact and high visibility roleBe a part of an exciting pharmaceutical companyAbout Our ClientAn exciting global pharma company which is highly entrepreneurial and innovative, focused on scientific advances in the areas of reproductive and women's health, gastroenterology and urology.Job Description· Support development of strategic market access plans aligned with overall commercial strategy, ensuring prioritization of launched products and lifecycle management of existing products.o Manage all public and private reimbursement & pricing submissions and reviews.o Prepare and assist in the preparation of the economic and clinical sections of reimbursement and pricing submissions to the relevant funding authorities as required.o Co-ordinate local, regional and global resourcing & support.o Manage external consultants for necessary support.o Engage Key External Experts (KEE) and Subject Matter Experts (SME) for input and support on reimbursement, pricing and access strategies and initiatives.· Develop and implement national tender strategy and co-ordinate national, state and hospital tender submissions to ensure alignment with the global tender management and pricing practices.· Develop relationships with key local stakeholders within the Department of Health, other government agencies as well as private medical funders.· Provide support to colleagues in the medical, sales & marketing departments with matters relating to health economics, access and pricing.o Provide training to medical and commercial teams on relevant health economic publications/assessments aligned with communication strategies.o Assist with development and review of educational and/or promotional materials.· Provide analytical, interpretative and strategic support for business development opportunities and long-range forecasting as appropriate.· Collaborate with global market access and pricing function monitoring contracted and tender pricing arrangements and ensure alignment with all global market access and pricing strategies.· Collaborate with commercial and medical functions to develop and manage secondary market research to determine real world use of products vs submission assumptions.· Maintain awareness of local and global trends in market access, real world evidence, funding legislation and payer requirements.· Perform other functions and duties that may be assigned.· Participate in industry associations, conferences and other events to develop knowledge and relationships.The Successful Applicant· Demonstrated track record in developing and securing government and private reimbursement, preferably within the Australian Healthcare system.· Minimum 4 years' related experience within the pharmaceutical industry or relevant consulting or other payer experience.· In-depth knowledge and understanding of the elements of HTA and pricing submissions such as economic modeling, meta-analyses, clinical trial methodologies, relative effectiveness and indirect comparisons.· Deep understanding of the Australian Healthcare System and the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme.· Understanding of regulations, processes, and procedures regarding private and public hospital formulary listings.· Ability to identify and understand major issues in relevant healthcare policy, health economics, pharmaco-economics, pricing and health management.· Strong project management skills, along with the ability to work on multiple tasks, and to effectively prioritize.· Fluent command of the English language.What's on Offer- High visibility and accountability role working closely with the General Manager.- Represent the AU business at a regional and global platform.- Lucrative benefits including a salary.They strive to build and maintain an inclusive and diverse workplace with equal opportunities and mutual respect for all employees regardless of their backgrounds and socioeconomic status.#J-18808-Ljbffr
