Job Title: Credit Controller
Our company is a leading wholesale distribution business with a significant presence in the market, employing over 500 staff and generating a substantial turnover.
The role of a Credit Controller involves managing specific sections of accounts within the sales ledger as part of a team. This includes building relationships with customers to deliver exceptional service, ensuring accounts are kept within credit terms, and facilitating cash flow while minimizing overdue debt.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage customer accounts, maintaining accurate and up-to-date information.
* Facilitate high levels of customer satisfaction through timely issue resolution and proactive communication.
* Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and optimize cash allocation.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous experience in credit control or a similar field, preferably in a high-volume customer service environment.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Able to work effectively both individually and as part of a team.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
