The role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). In this pivotal role, you will be at the heart of the Finance team, ensuring the smooth operation of the CFO’s office and contributing to the efficient delivery of strategic business initiatives. You will manage a proactive operating rhythm, handle complex, confidential matters, and act as a trusted partner to the CFO in driving key priorities across the business. This role requires exceptional organisational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
* Strategic Support:
o Proactive Management: Anticipate the CFO's needs, manage their schedule, and ensure smooth operations, freeing them to focus on strategic initiatives.
o Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve issues, escalating urgent matters as needed, and ensuring the CFO is fully briefed on critical information.
o Information Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date information for the CFO, including meeting materials, reports, and business documents, ensuring easy access and compliance with audit requirements.
o Strategic Thinking: Assist the CFO in prioritising tasks, allocating time for strategic thinking, and managing daily operations effectively.
o Communication & Collaboration: Draft and manage communications for the CFO, including presentations, reports, and internal/external correspondence, ensuring consistent messaging and alignment with the Finance team.
* Operational Efficiency:
o Event Management: Plan, organise, and execute events, ensuring timely and efficient delivery within budget constraints.
o Team Support: Provide operational support to the Finance team, including travel and expense management, training, employee engagement, and document management.
o Performance Management: Contribute to the performance evaluation process for the CFO's direct reports, providing valuable feedback and observations.
o Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to the day-to-day operations of the Finance team and the CFO, increasing efficiency and effectiveness.

About you
* You have a minimum 3-5 years Executive Assistant experience at a senior level;
* Demonstrated capabilities in design thinking, project management competencies, execution;
* Demonstrated ability to proactively establish priorities, anticipate needs and use sound judgment to manage complex, confidential and sensitive activities;
* Resourceful and logical thinker with excellent attention to detail;
* Analytical and presentation skills;
* Proven organisational and time management skills;
* Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent ability to multitask, prioritise and work under pressure;
* Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organisation;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* Advanced skill level in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) and office management software (travel, expenses etc); and
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of the broader Executive Assistant team.
