The National Tendering Manager is a key role within our Pricing & Data team, This role will be responsible for leading & managing the National Tendering Office (NTO), and ensuring the high quality and accurate pricing of tenders Key Responsibilities Full responsibility for the end-end-end tendering life cycle including sourcing, preparing pricing offer of new and existing National Tenders, ensuring the highest quality data and accuracy. Working closely with Key Account Managers & Sales Director to manage prioritisation and governance around Tenders, taking a commercial mindset to focus time and resources to maximise the opportunities.Leading, managing & Influencing National Tendering team to deliver on key priorities as part of setting price offer for new & existing tenders.Build and optimisation of processes and systems to manage tenders in the most effective way possible using a highly data driven approach & leveraging existing and new tools. Working closely with National Pricing team to set the margin on tenders and identify opportunities for both Rexel & Customer to reap benefits. Working closely with Key Account managers on strategic initiatives to maximise the margin and to make it easy for customers to do business with Rexel.Customer Service orientated, supporting the business by investigating, resolving, and escalating issues with an attention to excellence. Skills & Experience Team Leadership skills, able to set the vision and motivate a team to deliver.Negotiation and Influencing skills, working with multiple stakeholders to realise best commercial outcomes for the business.A fastidious attention to detail, structured and consistent, with the highest in data quality standards.Exceptional organisational skills, able to multi-task several projects in parallel.Excellent Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills techniques, able to source data from multiple sources and pull together to make informed decisions.Strong time management skills to manage project workload in a fast-paced and agile environment.Results-orientated with the drive to set and reach challenging goals with the highest standards.Ability to confidently present findings and insights to technical and non-technical users, such as Key Account Managers, Category, Supplier Chain and Operations Directors and Managers.Broad enterprise wide understanding of business processes, such as Margin, Pricing, Inventory, Customer, Supply Chain, Finance, etc. Why join Rexel?
