Executive Director Family and Community Services This is a legacy executive position which will oversee a diverse portfolio made up of the following service lines: Child, Youth and Family, Domestic Violence, Early Learning, Homelessness, and Mental Health. The Opportunity This role will include the following responsibilities: Provide strategic direction, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation. Lead teams within the internal systems of care through driving operational and performance excellence. Develop and foster robust strategic partnerships across the sector to ensure a dynamic and innovative response to community needs. Secure grants and funding to support the implementation and delivery of services. Engage with the Board of the Newcastle Anglican Corporation regarding the execution of the Community Wellbeing strategy. About You We are seeking an established executive leader within the Human Services sector with a demonstrated history of leading geographically dispersed teams to drive exceptional service delivery and outcomes for clients. Candidates with the following experiences and skillsets are encouraged to apply: 5+ years of experience at a senior level across the child, youth, family, and community services sector. Demonstrated commercial and strategic acumen. Comprehensive knowledge of the child, youth, family, and community services sector, including funding and policy protocols, accreditation, and industrial legislation. A proven track record in successfully leading change and innovation. Experience using effective governance frameworks to ensure ethical use of financial resources and professional standards of planning and budgeting. Strong collaboration, teamwork, and relationship-building skills across multiple levels and functions.
