Systems Developer/Change Manager
Emanate Technology is partnering with a well-known State Government Department in the Human Services space to find a talented Systems Developer/Change Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading Service Management across a particular application development lifecycle and will get to utilise their Technical Change Management capabilities and bring their team along the journey!
What you will be doing:
– Provide expert level coding and programming methodology best practice to build, maintain and enhance complex applications, using DevSecOps.
– Manage Azure DevOps projects, including configuring repositories and branch policies, developing YAML-based CI/CD pipelines with PowerShell scripts, managing Artifacts and NuGet feeds to ensure efficient package distribution and version control.
– In partnership with the Manager, Application Solutions, develop and execute comprehensive change management strategies to facilitate the adoption of new systems, technologies and processes across the department.
– Champion the integration of innovation solutions that drive efficiency, effectiveness and competitive advantage for the department.
– Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
– Evaluate existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement and optimisation.
– Lead initiatives to modernise legacy systems to align with current industry standards.
– Lead and support the delivery of Change Management activities, working as part of the team to ensure change management activities are proactively planned and executed.
– Develop and distribute targeted, concise and timely communications through a variety of channels (e.g. ServiceNow knowledge articles, team wikis, newsletters, group emails, presentations, showcases, FAQ’s etc).
What you will need to bring:
– Proven ability to develop and deliver complex software solutions that meet business requirements.
– Excellent collaboration and communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.
– Track record of identifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and efficiency improvements through technology.
– Technical and Organisational Change Management certification (desirable).
– Experience in public sector, particularly in the delivery of transformative ICT solutions for social services delivery (desirable).
– Experience in an AGILE environment (desirable).
– Experience using Microsoft DevOps, Microsoft Advanced Security and ZAP (desirable).
