What the role looks like
Reporting to the Head of Real Assets, you will make a leading contribution to the management of the Private Equity asset class. Acting as a key contributor in the following areas you will:
Contribute to the development and strategic direction of the Private Equity asset classTake a leading role in the management and implementation of the asset class's investment programMake a leading contribution to the due diligence, investment selection and reviewing of existing investments in the Private Equity asset class including the assessment of Private Equity co-investments opportunitiesMake a leading contribution to asset class reviews and papers for the Investment Research Team, Board and Investment CommitteeDemonstrate strong leadership as a senior member of the team, providing advice and guidance to other members of the broader Investments team.Who Are We Looking For?

A strong understanding of Private Equity, its nuances and how it can best fit into an investment programStrong demonstrated experience managing a Private Equity portfolioGood exposure to Fund investment and Co investment programsThe ability to assess new private equity opportunities for the fundProven experience monitoring the performance of Private Equity portfolios and providing relevant recommendationsExperience in leading asset class reviews and preparing board and committee papersExperience in a similar role within an Investments team environmentA strong understanding of relevant geopolitical and macroeconomic factors that impact financial markets and investment programs.Relevant tertiary qualificationsWhat's in It for You?
