Role purpose
The key purpose of the Test Analyst role is to drive the testing activities to deliver high-quality software product, in addition to overarching the release process to ensure smooth and successful delivery of software releases across environments.
The Test Analyst will be responsible for building test cases, test execution, identify, and mitigate risks, create relevant test artefacts, define and plan release schedules, and work closely with the Program Test Manager and Project Team towards delivering a robust solution.
The ideal candidate should enjoy wearing different hats and learning new things every day.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and document Test scenarios and Test cases in accordance with the Business Requirement.
* Execute step-by-step test scenarios, and document results/defects.
* Validate E2E functionality & integrated systems to meet its specification.
* Involve in tracking and reporting defects and are also responsible for communicating the testing progress status to the project team.
* Assist end users during program testing phases which include UAT, SIT and PVT.
* Collaborate with developers, product owner, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and acceptance criteria for new features.
* Participate in requirements and design reviews to provide input on testability and quality assurance activities.
* Identify and manage risks associated with the testing process and escalate these as required.
* Communicate release updates effectively to stakeholders, including development and QA teams, project manager and program test manager.
* Collaborating across teams for input to resolve issues and to ensure successful releases.
* Identify and mitigate risks related to environment changes and releases.
* Co-ordinate releases across multiple teams and ensuring minimum downtime.

* Internal: Core Technology, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Business Leads, Process Leads & Program Test Manager
* External: Software and Implementation Services Partners
Capability and Experience
* Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Test Analyst, consistently delivering successful testing and quality assurance outcomes for large and intricate projects.
* Experience working with SalesForce and JDE is highly desired.
* Experience working with Confluence is ideal
* Have worked on big and complex transformational project.
* Comfortable working within an ambiguous environment
* Relevant tertiary qualifications; and an industry recognised qualification in project management, such as SAFe Agile.
* Demonstrated experience working as a Test Analyst within Agile/Scum based environment.
* Experience in release management is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
* Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
* Experience with Agile development methodologies.
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
* An expert understanding of software development lifecycle
* Experience with JIRA based testing management tool.
