Your Responsibilities as Postnatal Ward Manager:
* Provide Operational Direction for Birth Suite to Ensure Efficient Management
* Coordinate Evidence-Based Midwifery Care
* Deliver Excellent Patient and Family-Centred Care in a Team-Focused Environment
* Guide, Mentor, and Support Your Team Members
* Manage Human, Financial, and Material Resources Effectively
* Undertake Direct Midwifery Care as Required
* Maintain Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards
* Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Midwife with No Restrictions
* Registered Midwife with at Least 5 Years' Experience
* Proven Experience in Building and Leading High-Performing Teams
* Demonstrate Ability to Foster Positive Working Relations with Diverse Stakeholders
* Good Knowledge Base in Labour Management
* Understand Requirements of Private Health Funding
* A Commitment to High Standard of Clinical and Customer-Focused Care
* High Degree of Computer Literacy, Including MS Office and Various Data Bases
* Ability to Work Cohesively Within a Team Environment
* Tertiary Postgraduate Qualifications in Midwifery
* Demonstrated Understanding of Work, Health, and Safety Legislation
* Demonstrated Understanding and Implementation of Quality Improvement, Change Management, Models of Care, Evidence-Based Practice, and Practise Development
